Crosstraining and the pack rat
53 minutes of crosstraining last night. Odd number? I had to go meet my wife at the MD and I stopped in the middle when I realized I was running late. 53 minutes, no time for upper body weights, but I did do my Captain’s Chair ab lifts which, by the way, I highly recommend. I do them with my legs straight though, and I credit the it with making my abs strong enough for my wife to stand on them. Uh, protective fat layer prevents them from getting scratched.
I’m a pack rat. I have alot of useless but interesting stuff. I have a piece of volcanic ash from Mt. Vesuvius (sp?) that I picked up in Pompeii, and a piece of coal from the Titanic (which I bought). Everytime they said they were changing the $20 bill, I saved an old one for posterity. And the $5. And the $10. I have an old diary written in 1921 by a young girl living somewhere in OH, and I’ve always wondered who she was because the only name I have is “Babe” from her mother’s inscription in the front.
Any pack rats out there?
Tonight I do the upper body weights. Promise. And some crosstraining too if I can. My knee is a little tight today so its a good idea not to run.
