Just got off the phone with Garmin and they said the Ghostrunner is being put into a safe containment center for the spiritually misbehaving, and has been replaced. Making some final preparations still (battery charging and programming?), but the new one should be heading my way soon. Psyched! Can’t wait to try out the cool [...]

I managed to squeeze in 20 minutes on the bike last night before the T-ball game. My shins felt good all day and I did alot of stretching during the day and just before bed. Today I felt good until I was driving to work, when I started getting those twinges in my left shin, kinda [...]

Friday was rest day (and whining day apparently). Saturday I did 20 minutes on the bike and 20 minutes on the ellitical runner thing. I can’t seem to get the hand of that thing. The pedals keep moving even after the time runs out. I had to jump off it while it was moving. Can’t [...]

I dreamt I was running in a marathon. It was through some old part of Europe, where the cobblestone streets were really narrow with houses on each side, like a Charles Dickens story. I was running up some very hilly areas but, very very fast! There was a couple that had gotten married and were [...]

I had 5 miles to run last night. Storms were moving in so I headed for the gym to run in on the ‘mills. We have a 30 minute time limit so I had to run it as 3 miles and then 2 miles on another machine. Yes, its stupid but what are ya gonna [...]

Written last night, but published this AM due to Blogger maintainance time. My legs are still sore from Saturday’s race. Specifically, my shins. Naturally. The right one has that sharp this-is-your-punishment-you-idiot pain. I expect this will subside as the week goes on. I’m icing and elevating and all that, which I am getting darn sick [...]
