A sweet 4 miles!

I ran 4 miles today at the gym. We’ve had incredible storms lately and they’ve been predicting more so I didn’t want to get caught outside in the rain. Its also 90% humidity and I didn’t want to die from heat exhaustion.

3.0 mile run on the treadmill, 10:00 pace. I had no soreness at all from the shins. I’m pretty surprised because it was a day after weight training. Very nice. Can’t tell you how pleased I am to run without pain. Maybe something’s working :)

Yesterday was rest day. Nuff said.
Today I was due for a 4-miler at the park. My son went with me and rode his bike along side. I started out very fast and a quick check of my watch said 8:00 for the first mile. Yikes! Way too fast for me. [...]

I’m exhausted from very little sleep. I need to go to bed.
I ran 2.0 miles tonight and did 45 minutes of cardio. My shin was slightly sore, but it usually is after weights day. Tomorrow is rest day :)
