Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got off the phone with an organizer for a kids fun run my son is entering. I faxed in the entry form and they ended up mispelling my son’s name on the confirmation list. I sent an email to fix it and they said they would forward it on to the people organizing the registration. The website listing is still mispelled so I called today to see why it was still wrong.

The guy explained that it cost too much money to change the list on the website but said his name would be correct on race day, and if not then I can submit a correction notice. He then said the reason they like the on-line (more expensive) registration is to avoid “people making mistakes, like you did.” He said putting it into an online document makes it correct because “people uuuuuusually know how to spell their childrens’ names.” I said that I’m pretty sure I know my own name and he responded with a polite little chuckle.

The guy just annoyed the heck out of me and I feel like calling him back and telling him to go stuff his race where the sun doesn’t shine.

Sorry for the rant.
