Tornado watches on crosstraining day

I was watching the Tornado watch announcements on TV while I did my crosstraining today. Apparently “the conditions are favorable for the formation of tornados” today so we have a watch until 5pm. Wouldn’t that just suck? Tornado. Fun to see on TV but not fun to sit in your basement and listen to. They keep those little tiny maps of SE Michigan in the corner of the screen with the counties outlined, with the ones in pink being watches and the ones in red being warnings. Ofcourse, if you can’t recognize the shape of your county, then you have no idea where you stand.

60 minutes of stepper, stepmill, and bike. I wanted this to be a recovery day so I kept the heart rate at 145, normally I think it hangs around 155.

I was looking at my shoe mileage and I think that they have less than 100 miles. Most folks don’t consider their shoes broken in until then. Good grief. I’ve been running in practically brand new shoes! I think I need another pair that I can start breaking in now because obviously I’m not going to put mileage on them very fast, especially if I have to split the mileage between two pairs.

Tomorrow is an easy 2.0 miles I think. Unless its 3 miles. Well, its still easy but I’m not clear on the number.
