Finally I get to run

2 miles and 20 minutes of crosstraining (stepmill). I also did a 1 mile walk afterwards as a cool down relax time. My shin was kinda tight for most of the run, which bothers me, but it didn’t hurt afterwards. I ran it under the cold water in the gym shower until it was numb and I iced it again this AM. Ibuprofin this morning too.

My weight is coming back down again. 181.2 this AM, so I’m hoping I have all the “runner’s snacking” under control. I kinda went overboard with taking in extra calories :) Hopefully I’ll be down to 175 soon. I feel most comfortable at that weight.

Tonight is weight training, which was neglected this week. I think I lifted on Sunday the last time. I think I mentioned it before but I really want this to an integral part of my training even though it isn’t in the plan specifically. I lost so much strength in my legs while training for the half, and I know I could have done better with more strength. Plus, I would like to have a ripped set of abs by this summer. I would also like to be able to fly.
