Wrong shoes again!

I had plenty of time to get my 2 miles and 20 minutes last night. Opened my gym bag to find (once again) I had packed my old cross-trainers. No problem, I’ll just run in these. Wrong. I never noticed how worn they were in the heels until I tried to run in them again. After about 1/2 a mile I had to stop because I could feel parts of my feet hurting that don’t normally hurt. I’m not going to start out this training with another injury. I’d rather miss a day of running. So I got my 20 minutes on the bike and 1 mile walking, and 1/2 mile running. Lame. I’ll need to add the twomiles someplace else.

Today is rest day (though I have no idea from what) mostly because I need to go somewhere tonight and can’t get to the gym at all. I really could have used today for running. Crap.
