Correction, 2 miles
I actually needed to leave the gym by 6:00 not 6:45. It worked out the same since my lower legs were still pretty sore. I needed another day to really rest. I did a light jog for 2 miles and did alot of stretching again. Cold tap water bath tonight with ibuprofin.
This time (instead of jumping to a full tub and giving my legs and nether regions the shock of their lives) I had semi-cold water (which is still cold to more sensitive areas of one’s body, mind you) and then let the tub fill the rest of the way with only cold water. We have well water so cold tap water is darn cold. The gradual cooling made it pretty bearable (sp?) and I was able to read my copy of Chocolatier magazine while I chilled.
