Another no-run day

Did another 40 minutes of cardio today. A short day because I had to get home for movie night. Friday night had become movie night at home since it was a rest day during training. I’ll probably do 55 minutes tomorrow.

I’ve been doing all the shin strengthening exercises that I pulled from a web page (can’t find the link right now). They are supposed to be done as a preventative exercise so that your muscles are strong and won’t lead to stress fractures. Kinda ironic I’m doing them now to help fix the problem I caused.

My shin didn’t hurt much today. An occassional twinge. Sometimes I feel it while driving. A faint soreness this AM when I got up, but better than other days. My right calf is kinda tight. I may be limping a little and putting strain on it. No pain during the workout either.

Forgot my calcium this AM, but I did have some in my multivitamin. Took the extra Ca tonight. I think you can only process about 500 mg at one time anyway. Best to spread it out to let it absorb effectively. Busted bones need calcium. Even if it isn’t a stress fracture, it probably won’t hurt me.
