Time for new shoes!

My feet got bigger. Damn. My toes are getting scrunched at the end of my shoes and I have a small blister on one toe. I’m going to blame my shoe problem for my slow run times and my sore shin. Its the only excuse that I can come up with that leaves me blameless ;)

I took a look at a shoe called Supernova (can’t remember the brand). I like the feel. It seems to contour to my arch better than the Brooks Adrenaline. I just don’t want it to cause some other issue. This is very complicated.

I did 4.5 miles yesterday. I only did 2.5 on Tuesday, because I was still sore from the 5K. 50 min. cross training Wed. Rest today and cross tomorrow. And then….7 miles on Sunday. Egads. I hope I’m not a miserable mess. I think I’m bringing my Gatorade.

BTW, I tried the heart monitor on the treadmill. Very cool to just start running and see my heart rate on the display.

I still can’t find a 10K on 3/6. I’ll probably just run on the following week and hope I don’t get too worn out for the 1/2.
