Long run today
This morning I’m due for the 5 mile long run. I’ve been icing and taking aspirin to compbat the muscle pull. Its still a little tight, but Friday I ran 3.5 miles (SLOW!) and it was ok. Its kinda sore when I’ve been sitting for a while. Yesterday I did a full rest with no workout at all so today I’d be ready for my long run.
I didn’t realize that training for this was hard just from the point of view of getting to the track. Never mind if you can last the 13.1 miles, can you even keep from injuring yourself before the race!
