Ok, we’ve totally messed this thing up.
My gym has made my training a nightmare and since it was -15F this AM, there’s no way that I’m training outside any time soon.
Friday…I went to see the new gym. It was totally amazing! A great track, swimming pool, new equipment, NO STUDENTS. Just a great place. All I need is $100 more a month to pay for it. Damn. Crap.
Anyway, they gave me a free 1 week pass to try it out.
Saturday…I worked. Yeah. Then I ran 3.5 miles at the old crappy gym.
Sunday…today I took as the rest day so that I can do my long run on the track at the new gym, and see how crowded it is on Mondays. It will be my first 5 mile run, and since it will be on a real surface, it may not be very easy. I may need a rest afterwards. Light upper body strength training.
