Did I mention I hate my gym?
Yes, indeed my gym sucks. I was KICKED OFF the treadmill today for the first time ever. Apparently, I was about to exceed the 30 minute limit for cardio equipment and there was one of the stupid students waiting to use a treadmill. Ofcourse, she only needed to be on for 10 minutes so she could warm up for her free Pilates class. Why she could do her warm up on a bike, I have no idea. But since she was only paying a $10 introductory fee to use the gym I guess that makes her more important than those of us who have been going for 3 years and are paying full monthly rates. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
So, I only got 2.5 miles in on my 3.5 mile run, which sucked big time.
I have a few choices here:
1) quit my f’d up gym and go to a better one (costs more money)
2) rearrange my schedule so I won’t be doing long runs during peak times (not sure its even possible)
3) buy my own treadmill and run at home (not enough money)
4) run outside (today’s high is in the teens)
When they said that training for a half would be hard, they didn’t say it would all be logistics! I thought they meant physically, not beurocratically!
