Totally screwed up this week.
I missed my Tuesday run, then it snowed and I got home so late that I couldn’t get to the gym on Wed. Wed was supposed to make up for Tues. Today I did the 3 mile run but forgot to do the strength training afterwards. Tomorrow is the rest day and I don’t know if I should do strength tomorrow or not. Having had such a damn light week, it probably wouldn’t hurt.
My heart rate is too high. It doesn’t feel too high when I run, but when I check it immediately after stopping, its waaaaay too high. I don’t know how to run slower. When I do very fast walking, my rate doesn’t get anywhere near high enough. But when I make the leap to running (actually jogging), it skyrockets.
Two weeks into this and I’m still messing it up. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Anyway, onward and upward. Rest day tomorrow (maybe strength).
