Second week begins! (aka - My legs are killing me!)

Friday - rest day! Yeah!
Saturday - 30 minutes of crosstraining - Yeah!
Sunday - 4.0 mile run! Aaarrrggh!

OK, I’ve never run 4 miles before so the fact that I made it was a great accomplishment. Actually, I did pretty good and if I have that good form at the end of the half marathon, I’ll consider myself to be in darn good shape.

The legs are sore and tired today. If I sit too long, its hard to stand up again. BTW, running for 40 minutes is very boring. I need one of those cool armband radios, or maybe and MP3 player. Then again, I don’t have time to program a stupid MP3 player. Radio will do just fine.

Did I mention the Martian Marathon? Don’t think I did. That’s my target. One week done and 11 more to go!
