I miss my good shoes.
I forgot to bring my good shoes and had to run in the old gym shoes. The old ones aren’t really old, but they aren’t running shoes. My feet don’t feel so sore after running with the good shoes. I think I’ll just dump the old shoes so I don’t make that mistake again.
Tonight I ran 3.0 miles, 1.5% grade, 6 mph. It felt pretty good but I got a side stitch around 2 miles. I need to watch when and what I eat before working out now. For running, it has to be strictly carbs early, like an hour before and maybe something like fruit just before. Tonight I had some chicken. Stupid. Oh well. At least I didn’t do it before the marathon.
Tomorrow: 2.0 miles or cross. I’m feeling good right now. I think I’ll run.
