Here are some photos of Whitemud Creek (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) in the winter. The creek freezes over and is quite safe to run on after a few weeks of cold weather. These ice trails are shared by runners, cross country skiers, snowshoe enthusiasts and hikers.
