Five Running Videos You Should Watch

Posted by Filed Under: Inspiration & Motivation, Video

Running may not be the best spectator sport, but compelling running makes for compelling viewing. In the YouTube age, we have greater access to running video than ever before.

Here are five that are definitely worth the few minutes it takes to watch.

Start off with this compilation of clips of some of the great distance races in track and field history. It’s got Prefontaine, Liquori, Ryun – all the way up to El Guerrouj vs. Lagat in Athens:

I ran 6-minute miles when I was in the military, then tapered for 20 years. Two-time marathoner (3:43 PR), my next goal is to stay healthy enough to run another.
