Is there an ultrasonic device that will deter humans but not dogs. They can be the bigger menace. Especially when they are in a car. :P

One is "Muzzle", by Mace. It is a special pepper spray for dogs. The other is "Ultrasonic Dog Chaser" which deters dogs by emitting a discomforting but not harmful high frequency sound (20,000Hz-25,000Hz), audible to dogs but not to humans. Search for these items on our website.

If you are running and want to keep dogs AWAY, there are products you can use that are humane. I heard on a science podcast that one should not run for long with the dog at a gallop, because it cannot pant properly at a gallop, and it needs to do this to cool. See http://www.abc.net.au/rn/scienceshow/stories/2008/2198911.htm. I hadn't heard this before but it sounds reasonable to me :)

I liked the item of running with dogs.
