Western States 100

Posted by Filed Under: Ultra Running, Video

The Western States 100 which takes runners from Squaw Valley California to Auburn, over the Western States trail takes place on June 28-29. I will have the privilege this year to man the aid station at mile 85 with my race club Forward Motion Race Club . I’m on my way to a meeting to discuss logistics. I really couldn’t be more thrilled to have this opportunity because this is a race to be reckoned with and I will be there to help the runners bring it home. What a thrill!

Among the runners of this year’s race will be our very own Running and Rambling Donald.

Anyone else?

About 21stCenturyMom

I found myself at the age of 38 the single full time working mother of 3 small children. I took up running because I figured I could get the biggest benefit in the least amount of time. Swearing never to run a marathon I found myself going out for a 4 - 6 mile run several times a week. I ran my first marathon 6 years later. Five years after that I ran another and then the next year another. Then I got bit by the triathlon bug so now I split my time between running, swimming and cycling. This year I think I'll run another marathon. And next year - who knows?

Good on you! One of my friends is running (Jamie Anderson) but none of the other guys made it through the lottery. Some of them will go out to help at the race anyway though.
