Posted by Filed Under: Gear & Apparel, Outerwear

nike-ipod1.jpg‘Tis the season of clearance and sales for running apparel. If you live in a cold-weathered area, now is the time to stock up on winter gear.

nbcapritights.pngLike these Celcius Capri tights from New Balance, perfect for cool weather. And black tights, like black dresses, never go out of style. Material: 86% Polyester, 14% Spandex. Also has an Interior key pocket for storage. On sale for $31.20, normally $47.99.

Pair those tights with this shiny satin, Cozy Warm-up Top from Puma. Material: 95% Cotton, 5% Elastane Baby Terry. On sale for $42.00, normally $60.00.pumapurple.jpg

You’ll be stylish and warm in no time.

I don’t know if I’d look so good in Capri Tights… But really I’d like to find some good winter running gear – any one have any tips on finding good deals?

    Thanks!

Aaron, I used to run in Alaska and New England and swear by Sporthill tights and jackets. They have a winter clearance sale going on now at http://milemarkersports.com/ that includes the full Sporthill line. Good deals for the quality of clothing.

And thank you, Susan, for keeping us all looking spiffy out there.

If you are in florida buy cold weather gear – it sounds crazy but i hit up a NB store there and they were “giving” away great gear, mainly because it was 85 out in feb.

    JOhn’s last blog post..Staple Design 575 ?Pigeon?
