It was so cold, all I could think of was the temperature. I know you&#039;re supposed to run slower when it&#039;s cold, but I actually did a PR for this particular course I run.

That being said, goals are great and you have some good tips.  I especially like the one about bringing the family away for a weekend.
I&#039;ll be running two marathons this Spring, and ran about 1900 miles last year (after 1300 the year before).  This year I expect that number to be around 2200-2500, not because that&#039;s a goal but just because the training that I expect to do will wind up adding up to that.
