Photo of the Week: Creek Crossing

Ever done a trail race? We have an XC race series here in Calgary consisting of 10 races. This week’s photo features the Confederation Relay XC Race. The course runs through an inner city park and involves two creek crossing. It’s always fun to see how runners of all ages and skill levels make the crossing.

We have the

• Slip off the side runners who cautiously slip into the water,
• Those that go two by two–for them the race is on,
• The high steppers,
• The ones that just wade right in,
• Young ones who laugh (yes we are related),
• Then there’s the “maybe I can fly” (no, not related just a fellow team member).

So if your race involved a creek crossing, how would you get to the other side?
