Retail Therapy: Thermal Visibility Pant

October 18, 2007 |

Like running tights but don’t like them too tight? They try the semi-fitted Thermal Visibility Pant by Brooks, it has a flared leg and no side pockets for smooth and flattering fit. Zippered back pocket is perfect of identification and cell phone. Made of Wanganui Thermal Knit (89% moisture-transfer polyester/11% spandex*) and rapidly moves moisture away from your skin to keep you warm, dry, and comfortable. They are available at brooksrunning.com for $88.00.

Have you worn this product? Leave me a comment and let me know how this product performed for you .

Did you know, according to Wikipedia, spandex was invented in 1959 by Joseph Shivers and is stronger and more durable than rubber?

OK I’m a bloke so I won’t be wearing these but I’m commenting on the Wanganui fabric. I have a Brooks Wanganui running top and I think that it is possibly better than any other top I have had - very warm, nice weight, good breathability. It is microfleece weight but warmer and stretchier, so extremely comfortable. Brooks are NOT paying me to write this, it’s just a very fine fabric indeed for colder weather.
