Although the weather was ridiculously hot and humid - I finished. Although my time was two hours behind what I was hoping for - I finished. Although I suffered injuries to both knees and could barely walk after mile 19 - I finished. Although I had numerous opportunities to quit - I finished.
In summary, the marathon pretty much sucked - but, I finished.

I was blissfully unaware of the chaos in the back while I was running, but you can find my race report at:

They came to my rescue twice (as well as the rescue of Great Lakes Running Gal and Out Of Shape Guy).

Just take the * out and replace with a "u." (This is my attempt at being family friendly) :)

Mouse and Dice were out in force as spectators.
