It’s September and, for some of us, snow will soon be falling. Where I live (Calgary, Canada) rumour has it we may even get snow this weekend. I sure hope not. I’m just not ready for it. Are you? Do you know what to wear when it’s not a wonderful, hot sunny day? Well maybe this site can help you. The Competitive Runner has a great write up on “Casting off Winter Time Chills.”
The article covers topics such as Cold Weather Attire and another section suggests guidelines for what to wear at various temperatures.
Of course the site has a lot more information to offer runners. Be sure to check out the links in the menu on the left.

Snow? Good grief I’m jealous – it was 95 here today. Ugh.
Yup, the weatherman promised snow and guess what? For once he kept his promise. Big fluffy stuff is falling as I look out my window. According to Yahoo the current temperature is 2C, feels like -4 and for my US friends that’s 36 feels like 25. Time to dig out the sweaters and fleece vests.
Light fluffy rain. T’aint snow yet. Shhh.
I NEVER wish for winter running, even on the hottest days. That said, I’m no weather wimp, and there are many astounding wonders to behold on a winter run. Thanks for the great links.
Where did all my mittens go?
